Description
Belt Squat
The Belt Squat from the TITAN series is a commercial plate-loaded belt squat machine. The load is carried through a belt at the hips rather than a barbell on the back, so the legs and glutes can be loaded fully without compressing the spine. The user stands on a large non-slip platform and squats freely, using the handles only for support.
Why choose the Belt Squat
- Squats without spinal load: the belt transfers load to the hips, so the spine isn't compressed as in a barbell squat.
- Heavy legs despite back issues: members who can't squat with a barbell can still train their legs hard.
- Natural standing movement: squatting while standing also works the core and stabilisers.
- 350 kg load capacity: plenty of headroom for strength athletes.
- Solid build: 40 × 80 mm steel tube frame with 3 mm walls and stainless-steel weight horns.
Who the Belt Squat is for
Powerlifters and athletes who want more leg volume without extra back load will value it, as will bodybuilders and fitness members with a sensitive spine. In a modern fitness centre it is a machine that sets the leg area apart from ordinary gyms.
