Description
Seated Calf Raise
The Seated Calf Raise from the TITAN series is a commercial plate-loaded machine for seated calf raises. With the knees bent, the load shifts to the deep calf muscle (soleus), which works less in standing raises. Thigh pads hold the legs firmly so the load goes straight into the calves.
Why choose the Seated Calf Raise
- Deep calf muscle: seated raises target the soleus, which builds calf size and matters for endurance.
- No back load: the load rests on the thighs, not the shoulders as in standing raises.
- Full range of motion: the calves stretch and contract under load through the full range.
- 250 kg load capacity: calves handle big weights, and the machine gives them room to.
- Custom colours: frame, upholstery and logo in your gym's colours.
Who the Seated Calf Raise is for
Bodybuilders, for whom calves are often the hardest body part to develop, will value it, as will runners and athletes who need strong, enduring calves. Together with the Standing Calf Raise (TT46) it covers both calf muscles.
Frequently asked questions
Why train calves both seated and standing?
